Namma Ooru Seemati-Final Part

நாங்க ரெண்டு பேரும் இப்படி ஷாப்பிங் கெளம்பினோம்.இந்த ஊர்ல ஒரு "High End Shopping Mall" கொஞ்சம் தூரம் இருந்தது.Directions எல்லாம் எடுத்துண்டு பஸ் பிடிச்சு அங்க போனோம், அங்க நெரைய்ய கடைகள்.

நம்ம தலைவி லிச்ட் வேர கொஞ்சம் பெரு(ஊ)சு.இங்கே வர இன்டியன்ஸ் ஷாப்பிங் வந்தா ஒரு நடமாடும் கால்குலெடர் மாதிரி ஆயிடுவோம்.எந்த பொருள் பாத்தாலும் உடனே (*40)போட்டிடுவோம்.

முதல்ல நம்ம தலைவி-ஒட அக்காக்கு எல்லாம் வாங்கிருவோம்னு Handbag Section-க்கு போனோம்.நம்ம பிரண்டுஆச்சே உதவி பன்னுவோம்னு போனா,நம்ம செலக்க்ஷன் எதுவும் அவங்களுக்கு பிடிக்கல.ஸெரி நாம இனிமே கருத்து மட்டும் சொல்வோம் அவங்களே செலெக்ட் பன்னுங்கன்னு பாத்தா,நல்லா ஜிகு ஜிகுன்னு மின்னர மாதிரி இருக்கர பாக் எடுக்கராங்க.கேட்டா "Foreign Look".கலி காலம் டா பெருமாளே!

நல்லா அலஞ்சு அலஞ்சு பர்சேஸ் பன்னி டயர்ட் ஆகிடோம்.ஸெரி எங்கேயாவது சாப்பிடலாம் பாத்தா எங்கேயுமே வெஜிடேரியன் கெடைகலை. கொஞ்சம் தேடினப்பரம் SUBWAY கண்ல மாட்டித்து.நம்ம தலைவியோட Ex-Roomie ஒருத்தர் ஒரு நாள் ஆர்டர் பண்னத எங்கெயோ மூளை-ல Backup பண்னி வெச்சிருந்தாங்க.அத Refresh பண்னி ஆர்டர் பன்ராங்க. ஏதொ எலை தழை கொடுத்து சாபிடுங்க்ராங்க,டிஷோட பேரு என்னனு கேட்டா "Veggie Delight(????)".இது என்னடாப்பா நமக்கு வந்த சோதனைன்னு சாப்பிட்டுடேன்!( தலைவி, நீங்க இத படிச்சிட்டு உங்க ட்ரீட் கான்சல் பன்னாதீங்க!)

நாம வந்து இவ்ளோ நாள் ஆரதே வெளிய வேர வந்திருக்கோமேனு எடுக்கலாம்னு நெனச்சேன். Halloween Day-காக கடைகளில், பொம்மை இருந்துது.ஒரு Ghost பொம்மை கிட்ட நின்னு Photo எடுத்தோம்!அத வீட்டுக்கு அனுபிச்சா "ஓரு பேய்யே பேய் பொம்மை கிட்ட நிக்குதே!(ஆச்சிரியகுறி)ன்னு என் அருமை தங்கை நக்கல் அடிச்சத நான் இங்க சொல்ல மாட்டேன்.

இப்படி சில பல காமெடி எல்லாம் பன்னி நான் இங்க நள ஒட்டிகிட்டு இருக்கேன்.
ஓரு Homebird-ah இருந்த நான் இங்க வந்து நெரைய்ய கத்துகிட்டேன்.

கொஞ்ஞம் இங்கிலீஷ்ல மொக்கை(!!!!!!)

Few Changes in My Life
1.Learnt to be Independent (தனியா வீட்ல இருக்கவோ,சாப்பிடவோ எனக்கு அறவே பிடிக்காது.இப்ப 2 நாள் கூட தனியா இருப்பேன்)
2.I could think and take decisions on my own.
3.Learnt to solve problems instead of reacting emotionally.
4.Learnt to be patient.
5.I Was so pampered @ home that for every small need of mine would trouble my parents and sis.It is different now,I plan and purchase things for them either online/in-store!
6.Most Importantly started a blog!
Based on my personal experience,I would recommend every person to be out of home for sometime.Eventually one can meet different people,realise that Life is always not a bed of roses and understand what do they actually want in life!

Hope my stay here would teach me much more and make it memorable!

என்னோட இந்த ப்ளாகுக்கு இது நாள் வரை காமன்ட் போட்ட/போடபோர மக்கள் எல்லாருக்கும் நன்றி!

UGADI ShuBhaKaNkShALu

Ugadi! I mark Ugadi being special to me as it was during one such featival did amma ask me to help(???) her in cooking.There I started with experimenting my cullinary skills. Appa became "The Scapegoat" for the very few dishes I tried.May be because of the threat to his life/was it because he being a better cook he asked me to concentrate on other activities.Poor Appa :) .Now forced to cook and eat my own food in Uncle Sam's Country,I have started re-inventing my interest in cooking. Poor roomies this time ;)

Being a telugite born in Tamil Nadu, never did I get a chance to see how the actual celebrations were in AP.Still we get a chance to celebrate and of course eat mouth watering dishes on both occasions!

What are the celebrations like?

We wish our near and dear ones
Pray god
Get blessings from elders
Eat Ugadi Pachadi ( Sweet-Sour Mix made of Mango pieces,Jaggery,Neem Flowers and little tamarind water)symbolising that life is also a mixture of happiness,Sorrow,bitterness but still remains exciting and adventurous.
Listen to appa reading Panchangam and hope for things to be finer this year too :).
